A Note From Our Founder
My name is Annie, and I founded Raboesy (pronounced ra-BO-zee) in 2023.
Long before Raboesy existed, I was already searching for shoes that felt different.
I have always been drawn to the quiet beauty of ballet aesthetics—the softness of satin ribbons, the graceful lines of a dancer’s silhouette, and the effortless elegance that feels feminine without trying too hard.
At the same time, I found myself constantly inspired by niche fashion brands, vintage treasures, and women who dressed for themselves rather than for trends.
Yet I often struggled to find shoes that captured this feeling.
Many were either too ordinary or too trend-driven. Some were beautiful but uncomfortable, while others lacked the character and individuality I was looking for.
So I decided to create the kind of shoes I had always wanted to wear myself.
And that was the beginning of Raboesy.

For me, ballet has never been just a style.
It is a way of seeing beauty in movement, simplicity, and detail.
The influence of ballet can be found throughout our collections—from delicate Mary Janes and ballet flats to soft silhouettes and feminine proportions.
At the same time, I draw inspiration from French style, vintage fashion, independent designers, and the women I encounter every day.
