A Note From Our Founder
My name is Annie, and I founded Raboesy (pronouncedra-BO-zee) in 2023.
Long before Raboesy existed, I was already searching for shoes that felt different.
I've always been drawn to the effortless elegance of French style and the quiet beauty of ballet aesthetics—the softness of satin ribbons, the graceful lines of a dancer's silhouette, and a femininity that never feels forced.
For years, I searched for the perfect ballet flats and tabi shoes. I wanted styles that felt timeless yet distinctive, delicate yet full of character.
But I could never quite find them.
The ballet flats I found often felt too simple. The tabi shoes I loved were sometimes too bold or difficult to wear every day. I was looking for something in between—shoes that balanced elegance, individuality, and comfort.
So I decided to create them myself.
What began as a personal search became Raboesy: a footwear brand inspired by balletcore aesthetics, French retro charm, and modern femininity.
Every pair is designed with the same intention that started it all—to create shoes that feel beautiful, effortless, and uniquely memorable.
