Tabi Ankle Strap Sandal Pumps

I am normally a size 5-6 depending on the brand. I measured my foot, found that I'm a little shorter in centimetres than size 4, and went with it, expecting it to be a little lose but manageable. The size 4 is huge! I slide down to the toe and there's so much space in the heel. I had to cut the toe foam inserts that it came with and push them into the toe sections as a makeshift way to push my whole foot up. Regardless of the giant size, it's surprisingly comfortable with or without the foam inserts. If it weren't for the strap, this shoe would be unwearable for me. I will say, the heel itself is very sturdy, and I feel like the shoe doesn't need breaking in at all. The toe section is incredible soft, almost like wearing rubber socks - if someone were to step on my toes, I'll feel that for sure. The buckle is also unique - you slide the buckle into a hook, rather than manually buckling it in like a belt. All in all, I'll wear these shoes as I think they're still cute, incredibly comfortable, and I have nothing else like them. But the huge size is really disappointing and I'm a little wary about how soft the toe portion is or how secure the buckle/hook situation is. I don't know how other small-foot people feel about these, but I feel as if the sizing is pretty inaccurate, since I've never had to buy size 4 shoes before.

These red pumps are sooooo cute! They fit perfectly right out of the box. The heel is nice and thick. Im a plus size girl, XXL. So i appreciate a sturdy shoe. The strap is long enough for a bigger ankle. They look so expensive! I will be getting the other colors for sure!
